Revival Now! - Taiping

Taiping was the former capital of the state of Perak and it is known to be a sleepy hollow or pensioners paradise. Driving north from Muar, it will take about 4 hours. This three-day conference (1st-3rd July) was organized by three major Spirit-filled churches in Taiping. ISAAC pastors from other parts of the nation came to give their support for this conference. Dr. Daniel Vello from Ipoh interpreted all the messages of Dr. Jonathan into the Tamil language.

We have heard it say that "the winds of change are here" but in Taiping it was literally so. Even before we arrived in Taiping, a very unusual strong wind came to town and blew away the top part of some ‘very significant buildings'. According to Taiping pastors, this was ‘unusually' unusual. We remember distinctively that Dr. Jonathan David prayed and prophesied on the second day of ITIP in June about tremors and strong winds and these signify divine movements that are taking place in the heavenly realm.

After three remarkable days of dismantling and disarming things in the spirit during the conference, we can see that Taiping is destined to change its reputation as a sleepy hollow or pensioners paradise to become a hot spot of God's move. The mindset of this little town of Taiping is being changed from a mentality of being under siege to a mentality that will lay siege over the powers of darkness in their midst.

The first morning session on Thursday started out slowly but surely. Dr. Jonathan worked skillfully with the Holy Spirit to bring realignment to the thinking patterns of the people. The people were not resistant to what was being said and for many of them what they heard was so new and fresh to them especially about the Church that Jesus presented in Matthew 16.

On Thursday night meeting, it was a time of clearing all lethargy and challenging the church to rise up beyond their local agenda and seek for national transformation. Breaking limitations because there is oil in the house to fill every empty vessel outside the house. When there is economy crisis and collapse outside, there is always supply inside the house. What is inside the house will change what is outside the house. We must know the oil that God puts in the house, the key to our miracles.

On Saturday night, the hall was packed full with people. Dr. Jonathan took charge of the night worship together with those from the ISAAC churches. The worship atmosphere prepared the hearts of the people for the Word. Dr. Jonathan preached on how God is going to cause the people to enter and take the city and not leave the city. The city will realize and turn to the church for their welfare and prosperity. The whole city will gather together at the door of the church (Mark 1:33). Therefore the church must have a spirit of excellence in the house so that when the city comes and observe, they will be convinced that this is the house of God.
