APPROACHES TO TOUCHING GOD

There are many ways or approaches to touching God. The Word of God says a new and living way has been opened by the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a meaningful approach for all who seek Him.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

1. Prayer Invades The Impossible, Making Possible The Impossible
Prayer is speaking, demanding, proclaiming the will of God until it becomes a reality.
We must know what He wants and what He has spoken.
We must know what He has spoken and hold fast our confession without wavering.
We must not doubt with our mind, but accept God’s word and will as absolute and final.
We must endure external contradictions but with patience inherit what has been promised.
We must pray boldly with courage as this is the spirit of faith in operation.
2. Worship Around The Throne Brings The Kingdom
Worship exalts the Sovereign God and brings the kingdom down.
We must fix our eyes on the greatness of God, not on the bigness of our problems.
We must know that God is always on the throne, and He never abdicates it for a moment.
When we give Him His rightful place in our hearts He will act accordingly.
We abandon ourselves in trusting Him fully and He will prove His faithfulness.
We will see our enemies bow when our ways and worship pleases God.
3. Praying In Tongues Builds The Inner Man With Stature
Tongues is the utterance and language of the Holy Spirit for kingdom advancement.
The Holy Spirit was poured out after the Lord Jesus Christ was exalted at the right hand of God.
The Holy Spirit will give utterance to tune our spirit to the frequency He wants us to operate in.
Prayer in tongues builds and strengthens the inner man and empowers him for the assignment.
The new tuned frequency of the Spirit within us opens the heavens and also the hearts of men.
The utterance carry inspiration, insight and understanding for impartation to others.
4. Explicit Obedience Releases the Prevailing Power To The Next Generation
Explicit obedience opens pathways in the Spirit bringing the future and harvest forward and nearer.
Our explicit obedience to His word will make our lives like and enduring house.
Our explicit obedience will cut off the past and give us a fresh new start today.
Our explicit obedience brings God’s favor and presence, covering and protecting us.
Our explicit obedience releases God to send the right people to partner with and support us.
Our explicit obedience causes God to act on our behalf as we are keeping our part of the covenant.
5. Anointed Preaching Brings The Word Into The Heart And Mind Of Those Who Believe
Anointed preaching makes the word come alive and active.
The word will change what we believe in our heart and change what we speak with our mouth.
The message we hear will also become ours and we will echo it everywhere.
The anointed preaching has power to move and advance us forward.
The anointed preaching releases faith for the miraculous, signs, wonders and healings.
The anointed preaching also carries grace empowering the hearers.
The word is sent to make us overcomers and raise us up to the next level.
6. A Supernatural God-Encounter Will Bring A Sovereign Touch Of God On Our Lives
A God-encounter is a sovereign meeting with God that we did not initiate, but one that God chose.
There is always a higher purpose than individual blessings in a God-encounter.
A God-encounter will always leave us feeling passionate and hungry for God.
A God-encounter will always bring us into a higher stature.
God will bring in new requirements and seek within us a fresh commitment and a willing sacrifice.
Often a God-encounter brings a deeper understanding of our mandate and assignment.
7. Prophetic Words Unlock The Hidden Future and Potential To The Believer
The Prophetic word is the ideal future which will become a reality.
When we receive the prophetic word we know what God has already given to us.
We must now press in for His best and highest.
We must wage war with the prophecies and take what belongs to us.
We have seen the future and will not be deceived to receive substitutes.
The Prophetic word is an anchor of hope for our soul and rest for our mind.
8. Healing Is The Children’s Bread And It Is Their Birthright
His healing power can touch us and make us whole.
We have the birthright to receive healing for the body and restoration for our soul.
The Finished work at the Cross, settles the need for the wholeness of body and soul.
The Ongoing work at the Throne releases all provisions and blessings in the spirit.
By operating in faith, fully trusting His Word, we have access to all these miracle healings.
By living by the Spirit we have access to the power of the Holy Spirit for divine health and immortality, not just divine healing.
9. Deliverance From Every Oppressor And Every Oppression
Deliverance begins when the Deliverer steps in and not when evil spirits are cast out.
We are free from the old man of the flesh and also from all things he himself was subjected to.
We are delivered from every certificate of debt that have claim against us.
We have been redeemed by the blood of Christ and the complete work of the Cross.
We have a new spirit without sin nature, recreated after the image and likeness of Christ.
We can live by the law of the Holy Spirit and live in true liberty.
We can choose whom we want to obey as the power of choice has been returned to us.
10. Visions And Dreams Are Language Of The Holy Spirit Inspiring Hope Of A Greater Future
Visions and dreams are prophetic insight to God’s ideal and best for our lives.
The Holy Spirit communicates God’s intentions and purpose; letting us know His heart.
We develop faith and trust knowing He is faithful, unchanging and true.
The Holy Spirit gives us understanding of His word, His ways and His work.
We touch the manifold wisdom of God as we walk in explicit obedience.
We can pursue the vision doing it God’s way, pleasing Him.
We must be assured, for every God-given vision there is abundant provision.
These 10 ways of approach to God are a brief outline for those who are seekers of God to take advantage of. God has given us at All Nations Sanctuary the Favor of His Presence and the pleasure of His Company. We must find the fullness of joy in His Presence. In fact, He is our Joy, our Peace and our Hope
