SUNDA MESSAGES 2020

THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE

ANS ONLINE: CELEBRATION SUNDAY MESSAGE

28 JUNE 2020

by Dr. Jonathan David

Romans 8:1-4

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

It is the law of the Spirit of Life that has the power to set us free. It is a law in heaven that is applicable on the earth. It is a law and we cannot challenge it because it is given by the Lawgiver.

Believe God that every dark place in our life can be re-created and God can take away the power of darkness over our lives. If we practice the law of the Spirit of Life, we will be free from condemnation, sickness, disease, etc because the Holy Spirit wants to raise us up as an overcomer.

Rom 8:28-29

28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;

34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

God has a plan for the Holy Spirit to be our Guide and our Teacher. The Promise of the Father is the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:32-33

32 This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.

The final outpouring is coming very soon that will bring in the harvest. We are talking about a law that cannot be changed.

We want the Holy Spirit to fill our lives and become participants for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Some called it revival, reformation, transformation, etc. Whatever that is being called, the Holy Spirit is in charge.

How does this law apply?

Romans 8:3

For what the Law could not do, [b]weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of [c]sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

The Law of Moses is not weak but it is unable to clear the conscious of the worshipers. New things are in our mind.

Romans 7:21

21 I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. 22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.

The age of sin will come to an end and replaced by the Age of Righteousness. This is the beginning of the end of sin age. If we want to go to the next level without the devil, we must follow the Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus came to give us life and life abundantly. We must live the abundant life and become the partaker of the abundant life.

so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

If we practice the Law of the Spirit of Life, there will be no condemnation.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Many people don’t understand why the members of the body are fighting and the body is weak to succumb to sin.

The way we set our mind can bring us death or success. The mind set on the flesh is death. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.

What do we need to do?

When Jesus died, we died. When He rose again, we rose again. When we are in Christ, whatever happen to Christ has happened to us. We are not only healed, we were healed.

If we can understand this, we will participate in the final outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Our spirit is recreated in the likeness and image of God and looks exactly like the Lord Jesus Christ.

 1 John 3:1-3

See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

He is coming back for His Bride. Everything that God is doing within our life is to make us look like the Son, talk like Him, minister and do like what He did. We will be like Him because we will see Him just as He is. When Jesus comes in the clouds at the second coming, all eyes will see Him. The Life of Christ will manifest more and more until we become like Christ. When God looks at us, He will see the Son and respond to us like how He will respond to Jesus.

Serve the Law of the Spirit of Life. Partner with the Holy Spirit and pray in the Holy Spirit; not just tongues but also in the language we are competent in. Declare His Truth in our lives.

Christ must be formed on the inside. Every aspect of our mind must be changed and set on the things of the Spirit. If we watch the Holy Spirit and listen to the Holy Spirit more and more, we will become more like the Son of God. We won’t be just belonging to Him but the Holy Spirit will also be dwelling inside of us. If we live by the Law of the Spirit of Life, we can rise to the occasion when our name is summoned.

When we are in the spirit, it is because the Holy Spirit dwells within us and He brings us to the place where we can connect to the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Cor 6:14-17

14 Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be! 16 Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “The two shall become one flesh.” 17 But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

We can connect our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit can take us to the next level and be seated in the heavenly places. The flesh is still here but the Holy Spirit inside us can take us into the spirit immediately. A new day is beginning for the church and for our lives. We may be in Muar and on the earth in person but in the spirit we can go up to the next level. That level is without devils because the enemy has been cut off from that zone.

I Cor 6: 19-20

19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

The Holy Spirit dwells in us because Christ is being shaped and formed. When God wants us to rise up and enter into His plans for us, the Holy Spirit will bring us to the dimension of the spirit.

The Holy Spirit wants our mind set on Him. Every morning get back into the Presence of God and realign ourselves. If we call upon Him to lead us, we will become more like the Son of God.

Romans 8:12-13

12 So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh— 13 for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

He wants us to trust Him. We need the Holy Spirit to give life back to our mortal body; redeem our life and mind, change our lifestyle, convict us of sin so that we can be straight and narrow. If we rise up in the power of the Holy Ghost and put to death sin in our body, we will live.

14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 41:00

15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

Fear is an emotion, spirit and beginning of darkness. Fear must not frighten us. We must frighten fear and allow doubt to self-destruct. We need our faith to rise. The Holy Spirit is opening up ways for us so that we can be in the spirit.
