STRATEGIC MEN: POSITIONED TO CREATE SIGNIFICANT MOVES
- JEREMIAH RECEIVED the prophetic word concerning the Babylonian captivity. He warned the people of Judah
1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying:

2. DANIEL STUDIED the prophecies of Jeremiah and accurately pointed the prophetic timetable that the captivity in Babylon will soon be over.
He intensifies his prayer with fasting, releasing a chain reaction of faith and divine activity in the heavens.
2 in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which was revealed as the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.
3 So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes.
4 I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed and said, “Alas, O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and loving-kindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments,
Daniel 9:2-4
This prayer chain moves strategic men into action.
3. The prophet ISAIAH PROPHESIED the rising of King Cyrus and how God will use him to fulfill His desire and Kingdom purpose when he ascended to the throne.
28 “It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire.’ And he declares of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’ And of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.'”
Isaiah 44:28
1 Thus says the LORD to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to loose the loins of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:
2 “I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.
3 “I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.
4 “For the sake of Jacob My servant, And Israel My chosen one, I have also called you by your name; I have given you a title of honor Though you have not known Me.
5 “I am the LORD, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me;
6 That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other,
7 The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these.
Isaiah 45: 1-7
4. The Lord stirred up the spirit of CYRUS TO ACCELERATE THE FREEDOM of the Babylonian captives and revoked the laws that kept them bound.
Cyrus understood that God has given him the Kingdom of the earth and he was appointed by God to build Him a House in Jerusalem. He made provisions for all captives to return and even commanded the people in Babylon to support the cause.
1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying:
2 “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3 ‘Whoever there is among you of all His people, may his God be with him! Let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah and rebuild the house of the LORD, the God of Israel; He is the God who is in Jerusalem.
4 ‘Every survivor, at whatever place he may live, let the men of that place support him with silver and gold, with goods and cattle, together with a freewill offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.'”
5 Then the heads of fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin and the priests and the Levites arose, even everyone whose spirit God had stirred to go up and rebuild the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
6 All those about them encouraged them with articles of silver, with gold, with goods, with cattle and with valuables, aside from all that was given as a freewill offering.
Ezra 1:1-6
5. God raised ZERUBABBEL AND EZRA TO LEAD the captives back into Judah and to rebuild the temple.
1 Now these are the people of the province who came up out of the captivity of the exiles whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his city.
Ezra 2:1
12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him. And the people showed reverence for the LORD.
15 on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of Darius the king.
Haggai 1:12, 15
1 On the twenty-first of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet saying,
2 “Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people saying,
3 ‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison?
4 ‘But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the LORD, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the LORD of hosts.
Haggai 2:1-4,
20 Then the word of the LORD came a second time to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying,
23 ‘On that day,’ declares the LORD of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,'” declares the LORD of hosts.

6. God raised NEHEMIAH TO REBUILD the city walls so that they will no longer be a reproach among the nations.
7. God raised HAGGAI AND ZECHARIAH AS PROPHETS encouraging the leaders and all of Judah to rebuild and complete the building of the walls and temple.
8. The CAPTIVES RETURN to their nation and inheritance through a supernatural intervention of God.
- The heads of the father’s household.
- The priests and the Levites.
- Everyone whose spirit was stirred up by God.
- The people of the land encouraged the survivors with resources
6 All those about them encouraged them with articles of silver, with gold, with goods, with cattle and with valuables, aside from all that was given as a freewill offering.
Ezra 1:6
9. KING CYRUS RELEASED the articles of the House of the Lord which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put into the house of his gods.
7 Also King Cyrus brought out the articles of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put in the house of his gods;
8 and Cyrus, king of Persia, had them brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and he counted them out to Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

10. A people movement began
- Those who came up out of captivity (Ezra 2:1)
- Those who came with leaders (Ezra 2:2)
- Those who came ready to function (Ezra 2:36)
- Those who came with the same frequency and same DNA united in the spirit (Ezra 2:59)
- Those who came under accurate governance and with appropriate qualification. (Ezra 2:61-63)
- Those who came with resources, skills, money, man power, technology (Ezra 2:68-69)
- Those who came and found their part in the overall corporate purpose. (Ezra 2:70, 3:1)
There is no sustainable revolution without the participation of the masses. When the grassroots capture the passion for the cause and are willing to pay the price for its success, the people movement is born. We see on the horizon with of a new day and a new beginning national with a new people leading the transformation.
THE PROPHECIES ON THE STRATEGIC MEN OF STATURE
There is an acceleration on the prophetic destinies over nations. The proceeding word is creating movements, God is moving in, the devil is moving out, and God’s people are moving forward. The signs of God moving in divine intervention into the affairs of men are obvious to be seen. God is exploding on history and He is creating a clear pathway for the righteous to come into the inheritance. God is releasing strategic men whose role has been redefined, whose position has been reinforced and God is releasing the Spirit of Revelation, Understanding and Wisdom in the light of His purposes. He is raising not just a company but an army of nation builders, city takers and giant slayers.
Strategic Men has been set aside for this day and hour. This has been written for the generation that will soon be coming forth. This emerging generation are being shaped and formed, created and fashioned for the final purposes of God for the last days. His favor will be upon them. Sin, sicknesses and diseases have been broken over their lives. God is hearing their cry as they call on the Name of the Lord. Man will arise from everywhere, rising in full support of God’s choice men. When these people are gathered together in the power of one, the kingdoms of the world will serve the Lord. Strategic Men will make significant moves giving them the Presence of God shielding them from evil. Therefore keep your eyes on the horizon as God raises His new breed of transformational leaders in each and every nation. Strategic men will receive the mandate to lead for they have seen the preferred future for the nation. The grace, the gifts and the glory that God has placed on them will be evident to all. They possess the capacity for a greater measure of governing grace and prevailing power to be continually released on them. They are the radical opposition, men and women who chose to win only through righteousness. They will model the TALK as they WALK in the convictions of their heart and in the competency of their gifts and grace.
When Jesus was commission for His assignment, God gave Him choice men. Without this approval from heaven and the release of the partnership of these strategic men the Kingdom assignment will not be reached. We need good men, great men and the God men. God is preparing these Strategic Men and He is also preparing them for the work outside into the society, the city and the nation. He has set them apart so that the partnership can synergize and tap into the power of God. These men of quality who are royal and regal have God’s approval and the Kingdom Mandate. They become the catalyst, an activist and an agent of change. They are leaders who inspire and ignite the flames of revival. The Lord will work with them and confirm their words with signs and wonders. They will pursue the prophetic purposes and inspire the church for progressive change and reformation. The Lord is stirring up the spirit of Strategic Men to lead and push for change for the reformation of the church and the transformation of the nation.
We need more than politicians. We need statesman who seeks the welfare of the next generation. We need prophets who see and read the movement of the Holy Spirit in their nation. The prophetic word must go out, the prophetic purposes must be embraced and the prophetic people must rise. There is already a revolution of core values and collective destiny. There is already a reformation of all our institutions starting with the church. There is already a rebuilding of families, societies, and cities.
GOD’S STRATEGY IS YOU
You are the man of God’s purpose. The purposes of God will be revealed, established and fulfilled. God’s plan is to execute the purpose through your life. There will be no more delay to His purpose.
Isaiah 46:10,11,13
The coming in of the Spirit and the Word will release the final outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a greater Pentecost for His church and these phenomena will be inevitable. God is looking for generational impact so that the legacy of the Kingdom will continue leading and guiding the expressions of the Kingdom of God. God will release His people in Zion and baptize them with the baptism of His Word and Spirit. He will not just release the Word of the Spirit but also the Spirit of the Word. The Spirit of Truth will prevail and establish His people to be righteous and give them the capacity and possess the land. They will become the branch of His planting, the work of God’s hands that He may be glorified. The smallest one will become a clan, the least among the mighty nation. God will hasten in His time.
Isaiah 60:21-22
POSITIONING LEADERS STRATEGICALLY
- God has given us a new position of stature.
God initiates and accord His favor so that God’s leaders can execute His will on the earth.
21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your [l]offspring, nor from the mouth of your [m]offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”
Isaiah 59:21
- A position with unhindered sight
Isaiah 60:4 ~ Lift up your eyes roundabout and see
When we have a roundabout vision we can see all around. This is an advantage to us.
- Position with an empowered governing grace
Isaiah 60:3 ~ Kings will come in your rising brightness.
- Position with power to influence and impact the nations
Isaiah 60:3 ~ Nations will come to you.
We have to learn how to read the impact of your influence.
- A position that becomes the center of divine activity to coordinate the movements of God and people.
Isaiah 60:4 ~ They all gather together, they come to you
- A position with great favor till our heart is thrilled and joyful.
This is a position without sorrow.
Isaiah 60:5 ~ Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice
- A position to bring to birth a new generation of sons and daughters
Isaiah 60:4 ~ Your sons will come from afar, And your daughters will be carried in the arms
These are high achievers and breakthrough believers.
- A position to create wealth and distribute it
Isaiah 60:5 ~ The wealth of the nations will come to you.
- A position of favor where God’s power will come to intervene the affairs of our nations
We need His power to shut out and shut down the gates of hell.
Isaiah 59:19 ~ When the enemy shall come in, like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.
God will be like a rushing stream / river which the wind of the Lord will drive.
- Position established on the covenant He has made with us
This covenant is trans-generational. It’s a legacy that continues and nothing to hold us back.
Isaiah 59:21 ~ nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.
A covenant is established in the revival of the Spirit and the Word.
a. The glory and light will come to us.
b. Nations will come to us.
c. Kings will come in to your rising brightness.
d. People who are living in deep darkness will come to you.
e. Sons will come from afar.
f. Abundance of the sea will come to us.
g. The wealth of the nations will come to us.
h. The wealth is to rebuild His sanctuary.
i. God will honor you and upgrade the quality of your harvest.
j. Nations and kingdoms which will not serve you will perish.
